Julie Hopkins, a wedding and portrait photographer that focuses on delivering quality images and customer service excellence, established Camera Creations. Her approach to wedding photography is a creative combination of the best elements of traditional wedding photography with that of photojournalism to produce an elegant editorial style. She will record both the tender details, and emotional moments in the story telling style of photojournalism and include classic poses that give solidity to any traditional wedding tale. Her aim is to provide all the above without being too intrusive.
Julie has been photographing people, places and things since 1997. She was a professional ballet dancer for thirteen years and her dance career that spanned the globe, along with a degree in art history, and a passion for art, helped to develop her discerning eye for beauty. Julie is a member in good standing of Business Networking International, Los Angeles Digital and Advertising Photographers of America. She also holds a certificate in photography from Santa Monica College. She is published in Dance Magazine, Pointe magazine and exhibits her dance imagery in local shows.
